Community Groups Pause for the Summer
To cultivate a rhythm of rest we will be pausing our Community Groups from June-August. We will resume the second week of September.
Mission Kids Volunteer Training
June 9th. 12PM. Lunch provided.
If you are currently a Mission Kid’s Volunteer or are interested in volunteering, please attend our next Kids Training.
We will be discussing our Kids safety policies, curriculum, classrooms, leadership team and more.

For the summer months we will be combining our Mission Men's and Women's monthly events! Our hope is to embrace a slower pace for the summer while still valuing community with one another.

WHAT: A leisurely, kid-friendly hike through some of our local trails. Optional: bring a picnic lunch for after the hike.

During Family Sundays, we will ONLY have our nursery classroom open. It's the perfect opportunity for parents and children alike to worship side by side, creating lasting memories and fostering a sense of unity.
But that's not all! Family Sundays are also a chance to give our incredible volunteers a well-deserved break. They work tirelessly week after week, and this special day allows them to rest, recharge, and return with even more enthusiasm to serve our community.

Churchwide Cookout
Remember how awesome our summer cookouts were last year!? We will be having just one this year, but we are so excited about it!
As we take a break from our CGroups during the summer months, we wanted to create an opportunity for us as a Church to continue to get to know each other and our neighbors in our neighborhood.
Hotdogs, drinks, and fun will be provided by Mission Church. We will be meeting right outside the church building and we hope everyone can joins us.

Equip Night
Our entire church is invited to gather together for Equip Nights!
The purpose of these evenings is to gather as a gospel family for dinner and discipleship. Practically, we’ll be sharing a family meal together, followed by a time of teaching, table discussion, and prayer.
We plan to focus on topics during Equip Nights that will help us grow in discipleship and worship of Jesus, as we seek to “equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” (Eph. 4:12).

Where: Fellowship Hall
Why: To continue to learn and grow deeper in the knowledge of God together.

We are so excited to be able to participate in the Morganton Halloween Spooktacular for the 5th year!
This is a downtown treat-or-treating, costume contests, games and hayrides event. You won't want to miss out on this wonderful FREE Community Event! We will have a table full of candy to pass out on the Courthouse Lawn!
