What a weekend! VBS was an absolute blast.
On Friday evening, I had a moment to step back and take it all in. As I watched a room full of kids laughing, singing, shouting, and celebrating the goodness of Jesus, I found myself wondering:
"How many future pastors, missionaries, church planters, elders, and faithful church members are in this room?"
As we've been talking about throughout our To The Next Generation series, the gospel was never meant to end with us. What an encouragement it was to see so many people give their time, energy, and gifts to help the next generation see and experience the love of Jesus.
Will you join me in praying? Pray that these students would truly internalize the gospel. Pray that VBS would be more than a fun week filled with great memories, but that it would become a lasting marker of God's grace in their lives for years to come.
