Two Services
This past Sunday was our first ever TWO SERVICES! Billy and I often have these “pinch me” moments when we think about the days when our church was four people on our living room couch!
And to get to move to two services?!? God is so kind!
I had the honor of serving in both services in the same classroom, Lower Elementary. This is 1st-3rd graders. And we were teaching about the parables Jesus used to teach people of what Gods Kingdom is like.
The kids favorites were the mustard seed which is the tiniest of seeds that grow to the biggest of plants in the whole garden!
And the yeast that acts like a magic power to grow dough!
The kids loved the idea of something so so small being able to grow into something SO BIG that you'd sell everything you own to have it. We talked about the small seeds of faith God plants in us that He grows to make us more like him. We talked about how believing in Jesus can change there lives NOW! Not just one day when they are adults, but right now their lives could change in the ways God works in and through them!
What a gift it is to be able to tell Mission Kids of the hope they have in Jesus and that encouraged my faith as well!
Hannah Glosson serves as our Director of Kids Ministry, overseeing the ministry as a whole, coordinating and supporting our Kids volunteers, and helping create a welcoming, Christ-centered environment for children and families.
Beyond her role in Kids Ministry, Hannah faithfully serves our church in many ways as a valued member of our staff. She and her husband, Billy, our Lead Pastor, are the proud parents of their son, Sammy.
