Community Groups

Mission Church Community Groups meet weekly in member homes to live out Acts 2:42-47. They devote time to God’s Word, to fellowship with one another, having a meal and being in prayer together. However, they don’t just meet once a week. They entwine their lives together, doing all they can to help one another grow as followers of Jesus. Community Group members encourage one another to share Christ with their city and world, making more disciples as Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19.

C-Group FAQ

Who: All are welcome to attend a C-Group! One does not have to be a member of Mission Church to attend.

What: C-Groups are groups of individuals who gather weekly to study God’s word, share a meal and grow in deeper relationships with one another.

When: Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday nights at 6pm.

Where:

  • Tuesdays: Wilcox Home: Valdese.

  • Wednesdays: Ebel’s Home: Morganton, NC.

  • Thursdays:  Bekah Norris’ home: Morganton, NC.

Why: God made each person in His triune image which means we were made to live IN community with one another, to worship with one another, to learn and grow with one another. We at Mission Church see one way of this playing out in our lives is in weekly Community Groups.

Kids: We believe that as we live in community with each other this also includes our children! So if you have children, please bring them to a Community Group. Within each group we have (background checked) adults that volunteer weekly to provide care for our kids during the main discussion time.
