The Weekly -March 3rd-9th

This Past Week…

The Sermon on the Mount is perhaps the best-known and most-beloved sermon ever preached. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus shows Himself to be the promised King as He announces the kingdom of God and demonstrates its power. In this 9 week series, we will see how this sermon equips us to live a kingdom life in a fallen world.

‌Application Questions:

  1. How can we cultivate a deeper sense of God's love in our lives, and how might this understanding shape our interactions with others?

  2. In what ways can we demonstrate forgiveness and reconciliation in our relationships, even in difficult circumstances?

  3. How can we extend compassion and understanding to those who have hurt us or whom we find challenging to love?

  4. Am I (are we) becoming more loving? Where can I see the love of God transforming my heart? What specific fruits are clearly from above and not my own posturing? (What would my community say about this?)

CHANGING GEARS: A 4-WEEK SERIES FROM THE NEW TESTAMENT ON JESUS' MINISTRY

Clank! Beep! Clunk! Kids love robots, especially ones that can transform into something new or have really cool abilities. In this four-week series from Jesus’ ministry on earth, you’ll introduce kids to a different story each week that shows us how God’s truths never change, but Jesus changes everything — including us! We’ll see that we change when we know who God is, our past doesn’t change God’s love for us, and that Jesus changes how we see things because Jesus can change anything!
