The Weekly -March/April 31st-6th

This Past Week…

The Sermon on the Mount is perhaps the best-known and most-beloved sermon ever preached. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus shows Himself to be the promised King as He announces the kingdom of God and demonstrates its power. In this 9 week series, we will see how this sermon equips us to live a kingdom life in a fallen world.

‌Application Questions:

  1. How does the hope of the resurrection influence my daily living? Do I live as if Jesus is truly risen and active in my life?

  2. Have I consciously chosen the narrow path that Jesus talks about, understanding the challenges and the eternal rewards it offers?

  3. What does walking with Jesus and living according to His way look like in my daily life? How does it shape my character, priorities, and relationships?

  4. How am I responding to Jesus' invitation to build my life on Him? Am I hesitating or fully committing to His way?

Our next Sermon Series will be going through the book of

1 John.

Starting April 7th.

Do you ever feel as if the passing of time and the worries of the world have eaten away at the confidence you first had as a new Christian? Do you ever doubt that you have eternal life? If you do, you're not alone.

The readers of 1 John experienced this same doubt. They had heard the gospel of Jesus and believed he was the Christ, the Son of God; but, like us, they lived in a world that ate away at their confidence. In their case, it was worldly desires and false teachers that threatened their faith. What is it that's eating away at yours?

John's readers wanted assurance, so he writes to remind them of what Jesus' death and resurrection have achieved, who they are as a result, and why they need not fear. Our prayer is that you find the same certainty after studying this letter, written ‚ "that you may know that you have eternal life" (1 John 5:13).

Kids Moment

NEW CURRICULUM!

NEW CURRICULUM!

We will be switching our Mission Kid’s curriculum to The Gospel project.

Every week, kids will experience the good news of the gospel through a Bible study that is:

Christ Centered: It’s all about Jesus, and every story points back to Him.

Heart Transforming: This study is designed to encourage true transformation that comes only from the gospel, not from behavior modification.

Age Aligned: Each week, every participant—from preschoolers to adults—can study from the same section of Scripture.

Chronological: All age levels study the narrative of the Bible in order, from Genesis to Revelation.

Theologically Rich: All studies are presented in an age-aware manner, and every session is doctrinally sound and thorough.

Missionally Minded: Every session calls participants to respond by sharing and living out the gospel.
