The Weekly - Dec. 17

As we continue through Advent we looked at the Angels Song this past Sunday. We saw that, “In Christ we find our peace with God.”

Application Questions:

1. How do I relate to the least in my own life? Am I aware of the times when God has revealed himself to me in my ordinary moments?

2. How does the peace of Christ differ from the world's peace? How have I experienced this peace in my own life?

3. How does my understanding of Jesus' identity as Savior, Christ, and Lord grow as I consider the Christmas story?

4. What steps can I take to embrace and share the peace and joy that comes from knowing Jesus?

If you miss any of the sermons, you can find them all here.

CITY OF ANGELS:

A 4-WEEK SERIES FROM THE GOSPELS ON CHRISTMAS

Why are there so many Christmas songs about angels? Because angels show up all throughout the Christmas story with great news! In this four-week series, kids will explore the foundational stories of Jesus’ birth with a focus on the angels who were there to witness them! From the city where Jesus was born, to the cities we live in today, the angels’ message is just as important now as it was then! Jesus is God’s plan, calms our fears, makes everything new, and is God’s love for everyone.
